Which NECTAR to choose? All six, of course!
Preview Essential Oil Profiles and MONSOON NECTAR chart to learn about the benefits and physical properties of the essential oils used in each NECTAR.
The time of day, what season you are in, and what is going on with you physically and emotionally will determine which NECTAR will suit your needs.
Aromatherapy will guide you in choosing the essence for your mood, but it is ideal to have all six NECTARS, and use them interchangeably.
Choose a NECTAR to impart a warming or cooling sensation on the skin, a more energizing or calming effect, or for a specific application of therapeutic oils for specific results.
VIBRANT RENEWAL
Monsoon season is a time of vibrant renewal, and is the inspiration behind HIGH DESERT DEFENSE NECTAR. A natural anti-oxidant moisturizer to be used all over your body, face, and as a conditioner for your scalp and hair.
The NECTARS are inspired by the monsoon season regionally specific to the Southwest United States and dependent upon the winds coming up from Mexico. Spanish names for the NECTARS were inspired by the elements: sun, waterfall, cloud, river, and garden. And all essential oils date back to ancient Egypt.

For both men and women, High Desert Defense Nectar is a natural healthy approach to moisturizing your skin and hair. A powerful formula enriched with therapeutic botanicals and antioxidant vitamins e, c, and beta carotene, omega 3, 6, 9, ester-c and alpha lipoic acid. Liposomes restore moisture and penetrate these regenerative nutrients deep into the cellular level. Repair and diminish early signs of aging due to free radical damage, dehydration and environmental stress. Formulated synergistically to create a natural antibacterial preservative. No synthetic ingredients or fragrances. Not tested on animals.
All of the nectars have the same carrier base and are differentiated by the essential oils used. (See essential oil profiles for their individual properties.)
Carrier Ingredients: 100% pure essential oil in a carrier of vitis vinifera (grapeseed oil), cocos nucifera (fractionated coconut oil), tocopherol (vitamin e), phospholipids (lecithin), ester c, and alpha lipoic acid.
SOL: tangerine, palmarosa and peppermint
CASCADA: cedarwood atlas, ylang-ylang, litsea-may chang, caraway seed, naiouli and clove bud
NUBE: eucalyptus, lemon, sage and yuzu
RIO: lavender, ravensara, cedarwood virginian and clove bud
JARDIN: ylang-ylang, jasmine absolute and thyme serpolet
Suggested uses: Incorporate into your daily hygiene to maintain radiant, youthful skin and hair. Aromatherapy is the initial experience but the nourishing qualities linger. Nectar penetrates the skin through heat and moisture and is most effective when applied after bathing.
Moisturize: Slather nectar all over for a deep treatment, or apply to hands and rub onto forearms. Use hands and forearms to apply to legs and then the front and back body. Give yourself a big hug to cover the upper arms and shoulders. Residual amount on hands can be applied to face and hair. After distributing over your whole body, go back and rub it in! This less-than-one minute sequence maximizes the longevity of the product and allows the nectar to absorb evenly into the skin creating a velvety protective barrier. Skin should not feel oily unless too much has been applied.
Scalp/hair treatment: The scalp is an extension of your complexion and should be treated as such. Nourish and detoxify by massaging into scalp after cleansing hair. Comb through and leave on for 5 minutes; shampoo again. For coarse or curly hair try as a leave-in conditioner.
Shave: Use the nectar with a razor while shaving for a velvety touch. |
